The nine Navagraha Temples form a unique group of sacred Hindu temples in South India, each dedicated to one of the nine planetary energies of Vedic Astrology: the Sun, Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, Mercury, Rahu and Ketu.
These ancient temples are located around the spiritual town of Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu and in the Karaikal district of Puducherry. For centuries, pilgrims have visited these sacred sites to seek blessings, reduce negative planetary influences and strengthen positive energies in their lives.
At the beginning of the journey, every participant receives a personal Palm Leaf Reading (Nadi Astrology Reading). This ancient spiritual consultation reveals which planetary energies in the birth chart need strengthening and balancing. Based on these insights, participants can honor the corresponding planetary deities in the Navagraha Temples through traditional rituals and prayers.
Visiting the Navagraha Temples is considered one of the most powerful spiritual remedies in Vedic tradition. Through sacred rituals, temple ceremonies and mantra recitations, we seek to harmonize planetary influences and create positive changes in our lives.
In addition to the Navagraha pilgrimage, we visit the sacred island of Rameswaram, one of India's most important spiritual destinations for karma cleansing and inner transformation. While Varanasi is regarded as the spiritual capital of North India, Rameswaram holds a similar significance in South India.
India is different — chaotic, vibrant, and magical. Do not expect European standards of cleanliness; instead, embrace a deep and transformative spiritual experience.
